Christopher C. Antone Announced Speaker for March 31, 2017 General Meeting @ CCC

CHRISTOPHER C. ANTONE represents both union and non-union companies in our industry. He has spoken frequently at our AFS conferences, and has received excellent evaluations from our member companies. Chris is celebrating his 36th year with Jackson Lewis P.C. by being inducted into the HR Southwest Speaker Hall of Fame, in recognition of his universally acclaimed “Legally Leading” management seminars. He has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 100 labor lawyers by the Labor Relations Institute. He has also been named a Texas Super Lawyer for the last seven years. Recently, Legal 500 noted Mr. Antone as an “individual with distinction” in workplace and employment counseling, stating “Clients single out Christopher Antone, as ‘especially helpful with our issues. He is responsive and brings immediate resources to bear on our issues.’” Mr. Antone is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Chris counsels human resources professionals in the development of state-of-the-art proactive policies, procedures and protocols designed to retain the best talent, exit poor performers, and create an environment that produces highly effective work teams. He teaches all levels of management on lawful strategies designed to minimize employment-related litigation, union grievances and arbitrations, and union organizing drives.

Since completing law school, Chris has been exclusively engaged in the practice of labor and employment law on behalf of management. He has represented management before the National Labor Relations Board, state and federal agencies and courts, and in arbitration proceedings.

Chris is a contributing author of Winning NLRB Elections: Management’s Strategy and Preventive Programs, which is the leading work on maintaining union-free status. Chris is one of the select Jackson Lewis faculty members who has presented the most well-known seminar on managing a unionized workforce, entitled Corrective Bargaining: Winning Back and Preserving Management’s Rights Under a Collective Bargaining Agreement. He has published articles on labor law subjects, and is a frequent speaker before professional, trade and business associations on labor relations topics.

Chris received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, where he achieved Dean’s List academic honors. He graduated from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was elected to the Hofstra Law Review and was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree with distinction in labor law.
